Lost at sea
In November 1874, sailing back to Curacao with the clipper brig ‘Santa Rosa’, disaster struck for Helenus Albertus Mellink and his family.
A moving year
On April 30, 1934 Princess Juliana turned 25. The year started quietly, but this would soon change. Bernard de Hoog, world famous for his peasant interior scenes, painted her portrait.
